The seaside part of the city of Bari, June 2024
Bari, the seaport city on the eastern coast of Southern Italy, is somewhat notorious. In the past, it was plagued by crime. But nowadays, this economic capital of the south is a nice escape. Either as a jump point to discover more of the famous Pugglia region, or for a weekend trip like mine in June 2024. It was the third time in Bari for me - photos of my earlier visits I will post at some later date.
Bari has a nice old town to stroll through, good food places, a looooong boulevard on the seaside and a handy beach to take a swim and cool down on a hot day.
