The Tarnów Town Hall

The Tarnów Town Hall dates back to the 15th century.

Tarnów is a small city (105,000 inh.) in Southern Poland, located about 70 kilometres (45 miles) east of the big city of Kraków. The old town is cute, and compact. The 16th century tenements are well restored, and especially the area around the main square (rynek) is worth a short stop on your way through the country. It is this centre of the old town where I took my photos of this small album in the summer of 2024.

The arched walkaways around the main square of Tarnów are typical for historical Polish towns.
